To put this into perspective, the World Health Organization recommends a daily intake of aluminum should not exceed 60mg.
Dr. Zubaidy advises against using aluminum foil for cooking, or at the very least, avoiding its use with certain foods such as tomatoes, citrus juice, and spices. He also cautions that the amount of chemical leaching increases with higher cooking temperatures.
